Get your map out - but you'll be nowhere near Gaza (on the Medeterranean just north of the Sinai Peninsula which belongs to Egypt); the Golan is north of Tiberias in the hills up near Syria/Lebanon borders (known for rockets flying into Israel) - no need to venture here.
You'll have a wonderful trip. Enjoy.
