Like PB , since our wish on this thread came true (we had a beautiful male sable during our Botswana safari) I will also update with 3 new wishes:
Grevy’s zebra,Reticulated giraffe and Gerenuk are next on our list ,so you know what part of Kenya i will like to visit.
It is sad to see what is happening with the country and his people.Hopefully sooner than later things will go back to normal.
Paco.

This thread is actually pretty amazing, not only for the variety but also how some of the things on our wish lists others have seen often or things people have been on the look out for years that virtually fell into others laps!
My wish list is topped by Cheetahs but includes Caracals, Pangolins and Servals also I very briefly saw a pair mongoose but couldn't get a picture so I'd like another chance for that.
On the other had, I see a lot of people looking for Leopards, Lion Cubs and Wild Dogs and I've been blessed on my one safari so far to see all three. I've seen leopards mating, in a tree with it's kill (my friends just love those pictures) and just walking along in the afternoon. Two sighting of lion cubs and besides seeing wild dogs we were virtually caught in the middle of a wild dog kill just after sunset during our first game drive. The pack was chasing a bush buck and it almost jumped on our Land Rover trying to escape as it came crashing through the very thick brush and crossed the dirt track. They brought it down within about 20 feet of us in the dense thicket and within 5 minutes it was gone. My only regret is that because of the lighting, even with the spots, and brush, none of the pictures came out. But it certainly was quite a first game drive and one I'll never forget.

An elephant birth would be my top choice. (And while we are wishing, that it would happen in late September which is when we always go on safari! Good luck!!)
We've been very lucky - lucky enough to see both leopard and lion kills, baby kudu standing for the first time, we've gotten inspected by curious month old lion cubs coming up to our truck and had lions interrupt our dinner when they walked through camp about 3 meters away with nothing between us and them. But we've never seen anything actually being born, so an elephant birth would be "the" sighting.
However, after seeing that I am sure there is no way my hubby could ever get me on the plane home!
