Bots,

Fly fishing? In August, i saw some teenagers try it during the afternoon siesta period.

Honestly, i go there just for the game drives. I can't comment on the fishing, sorry...i have never tried. Infact, i have never even done the boat trip from Lagoon. That is serious big game country and i maximize all my time in the vehicle.....

Sorry, Bots don't have the info for you....

You planning to visit Lagoon? Definitely stick to the game drives, if you do....never know what's round the corner....

Tigerfish on the fly at Lagoon Camp? Please do tell me more.

At Chiawa on the lower Zambezi, we never missed a single game drive, walk, or canoe trip AND we fished for tigerfish--during the mid-day break. Who sez you can't have your cake and eat it too?

Heck, I can always sleep when I get home.

We have done the Panhandle and did some fly fishing for tiger.Spend 3 days on a houseboat, now "hooked" on fly fishing for tiger.
Would like to try lagoon in the green season for some game and fly fishing.

I've thrown a lure in at Xigera in the delta but had no luck. Used to be keen on trolling for barramundi in the Northern Territory and surf fishing for Australian salmon, but all that paled into insignificance after my first safari.

Bots,

Do keep us posted on ur tiger fishing at Lagoon.....also, i really want to know about your game sightings from the drives. Thanks in advance.

Jim, by all means, yes....you can fish during the break time. That's what the dutch family in camp during my recent stay did....
