Ramara, would you please provide the names/e-mail addresses of the guides that you considered/contracted? We're planning to do the same. Thank you.

Ramara,
I'm planning a trip for next year and would love to hear more details on your planning. Would you mind emailing me directly? [email protected]

We travelled to Egypt in February on a customized trip arranged by STI-Travel in New Jersey. We wanted a couple stops that they did not offer on their regular trips, the stops were arranged easily and a quote was given to me within 48 hours. We had a driver and guide to ourselves in Cairo, and one night in Luxor. We shared a driver and guide with another couple for our long day trip to Abydos and Dendera, as well as the standard tours from the cruise ship. The guide travelled with us on the cruise ship. It was fabulous-altogether organized and efficient.

Get yourself organized by reading guidebooks so that you know exactly what you are interested in seeing before you contact a tour company for a quote. That way, you are comparing apples to apples. Oh, don't miss Abu Simbal and be prepared to tip constantly. Part of the culture.

Yukon

Is this the same Aamer Ibrahim you had as your tour guide?
