Traveldawg, I got the impression that you were worried for your own safety. If you want to go to a country where government treats the people well there are better places than Kenya, and many that are worse as well.

It looks like there was some kind of local elections last week which were peaceful.
The two main parties in Kenya’s coalition government retained their parliamentary balance in a by-election that appeared to have gone peacefully.

I think I know that. We have been all over the world in about 40 years of travel.
