First time to Morocco

Hi, my husband and I are trying to plan a trip to Morocco in Sept for 6 days. I've done some research but seems like it's very cumbersome and difficult to get to Morocco.

Do you have any suggestions for the best & cheapest way to get there? Also any tips on must see/do would be great.

Thanks!

The best and cheapest way to get to Morocco depends on where you travel from.

I saw on another posting that they said to get a cheap flight to Europe and then get one of the budget carriers who fly to Morocco. Its apparently cheaper than using miles to go from the USA to Morocco......if you were planning on using miles, that is. We didn't know that and are flying into Casablanca, but had we known, we could have flown from say England directly into Marrakesh

Sorry, I forgot to say that we're flying from New York.

Thanks.

From NYC, you can either fly direct to Casablanca on Royal Air Maroc (not the world's best airline), or fly to London, Paris or Frankfurt for connections from there. Increasingly, low-budget airlines like EasyJet and Atlas Blue are offering good fares from Europe. Check out connection through London and Paris, since they seem to have the best schedules.

I have flown on many international carriers and I was very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of Royal Air Maroc. Several others also commented on how great this airline is. I saw flights from NY to Casablanca for under $700 in the past - so that might be the way to go. I was hesitant to fly this airline but was impressed with everything from online arrival to customer service.
