ecotraining south africa
Hi folks,
I'm looking for a bush full immersion: a couple of weeks walking in the bush and learning about wildlife and ecosistem...
have you experienced a company called "ecotraining" in south africa?
thanks in advance

Check out www.luangwablondes.com
Go to the bush walking quiz page, look to the end. There are some suggestions for you.

Hi Cristiano
A timely question as The SanWild Wildlife Trust are offering a number of training courses:
"FORMAL TRAINING COURSES:
From January 2008 SanWild will also be offering volunteers the opportunity to enrol to the following formally structured training courses:
Field-guide eco training (Duration 3 weeks)
Anti-poaching ranger training. (Limited to males only over the age of 21 years. Duration 6 weeks intensive training. This course is not for the fainthearted and will include training with military precision.)
Wildlife rehabilitation and animal rescue techniques (Duration 5 – 10 days, depending on course level)"
To read all details of these courses and volunteer programmes click here:

I dug this topic up because I'm currently orientating in somewhat similar and encountered a 28 day field guide course which looks really interesting.
http://www.ecotraining.co.za/Courses...-1-28-day.html
anyone had any experience or know more about this program?

Here you go, OP:
http://www.fgasa.co.za/trainingproviders.asp
I'd personally go for Lee & Sarah Gutteridge @ Entabeni. Here's their page: http://www.fgasa.co.za/trainingproviders.asp
I met Susan briefly at AOF, and read Lee's book...
Ciao,
J.
