Well, I couldn't quite give up Duba (perhaps bc of photos like these?), but I did add 3 nights at Chitabe Trails to my itinerary.

My pictures from my last trip can be seen again.

If you are going between June - August I would prefer to stay at Chitabe Main Camp because at that time of year driving around Duba Plains can be quite difficult because of the floods.

Also to have a reasonable chance of seeing a kill, I would suggest to stay more than 4 days in f.e. October-early November or late March-April.
