Hi barbroy
I was at Rattray's in December and I certainly wore long jeans to dinner with a t-shirt - the only reason being to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes.
In March I would again wear long pants, simply because of the mozzies. I am sure if you wish to wear reasonable shorts and shirt, that would be fine.
Kind regards
Kaye

Hi Barb
As luck would have it, I am a girl! I would certainly not wear a dress that left my legs or arms bare, because of the mozzies.
I myself think that women in dresses look out of place, but that is only my opinion.
I have caught a mozzie related disease in Africa in the past, so I am very careful - and I would lightly spray my arms with the mozzie repellent they provide in the rooms.
Kind regards
Kaye

We did see some of the younger gals in cute slip-dresses for dinner - surprising, considering it was early-Dec when it's quite humid - mossie weather. But they said they spread repellent on all exposed skin.
Still, if you want to wear something other than safari tan for dinner, consider a pair of slacks and a nice sweater with colorful scarf or interesting chunky jewelery. Arms and legs will be covered.
