dress code for Nob Hill lounges

Most vacation guides recommend the Nob Hill hotel lounges for a drink and a view but I can't find any info on dress codes if going to just the lounges but not the restaurants. Are there dress codes for the "Top of the Mark", the "Starlight Room" or the "Crown room"?

We were dress casual. No ties are necessary. Wore khaki pants and such. I would not wear jeans.

Have fun. Great views and a good time.

I agree with the above. My wife and I had a drink at the Top of the Mark in the afternoon. We were neat casual - short sleeve tops, khakis. They were glad to serve us.

I was wearing shorts/nice t-shirt last time I was at Top of the Mark. It wasn't optimal, for sure, but the hotel staff couldn't have cared less and my family enjoyed the experience. If I'd known in advance that we were going there, I'd have worn khakis/polo shirt.

PS - It wasn't a martini - it was a sidecar!
