Chalk it up to eleventh hour, pre-departure overload -- but I can't find Flying Doctors. I see them mentioned in several threads but without a link. I can find the Royal Flying Doctors of Australia, and one link to AMREF which seems limited to East Africa. Someone said that it's a modest fee, that doubles as a much-needed donation, which is more than fine if only I can locate them. Any help greatly appreciated.

Zambia and South Africa. Madagascar too, but for the purpose of this question we probably should ignore that.

You can buy single trip coverage from Medjet, which will cover you from the hospital in Africa back to the hospital of your choice. And it doesn't have to be a medical necessity.
