I work 9 to 6, plus an hour-long commute on either end. Lucky for me, I love my job and have a great boss. My husband works from 8 to 6, with lots of additional evenings and weekends added on to that. But we can't complain about the jobs, because they helped us go to Africa!

I'm self-employed but as I deliver training (at the clients' sites) my normal hours are roughly 9 to 5 depending on what I'm delivering and where. For one client it's only 9.30 to 4.30 and for others it can be 8.30 to 5.00.
I'm usually at home 1-2 days a week and on those days it depends what I have on my task list, whether I had a late night the night before and so on!

used to be in the 9 to 8 ratrace with more hours at home, but now I'm happily teaching English as a Foreign Language, proofreading for an internationally known publishing company and living in Egypt even though my standard of living is not quite the same.
Get out of it, youse guys!

I'm the boss which unfortunately means I have me for an employee. Can't get good help these days. Run a little non-profit that works with entrepreneurs and I have the luxury of flexibility in terms of both when, and where, I work. Most of the time, anyway.
