This ship-shaped building on the waterfront was inspired by transatlantic ocean liners, but it takes a bit of imagination to see what the architect had in mind. Like the building, rooms are oddly shaped, but they are nicely decorated with plush carpets and pastel wallpaper. Those on the third floor have narrow balconies. Be sure to ask for a view of Reñaca, or you may see, and hear, the highway. The three-level restaurant ($–$$) serves seafood that tops the view. Try
the congrio a la griega (conger eel with a mushroom, ham, and cream sauce) or pollo a la Catalana (chicken with an olive, mushroom, and tomato sauce).
