This is the gutsy, gritty, eye-to-eye, forehead-to-forehead cueca chora, which has undergone a revival in the past few decades. The walls above the bar are decorated with scenes of old Valparaíso, including some notable shipwrecks. The restaurant serves traditional dishes for lunch and dinner daily. The dance floor—if you can call it that—is miniscule, but that doesn't stop people from dancing tango or cueca urbana in what little space there is between tables.
