Sichuanese Cuisine Restaurant

Sichuanese Cuisine Restaurant Review

For cheap and greasy but oh-so-good Szechuan cooking, head to this hole-in-the-wall in the Asian Plaza strip mall east of I–5. The atmosphere is forgettable, and the surroundings are downright shabby, but the service is friendly, and the food here is just about as authentic as it gets. Dry-cooked string beans (available with a variety of meats), Kung Pao chicken, delicious dumplings, spicy Sichuanese ravioli, and the ma po tofu (a spicy combination of tofu and minced pork) are favorites; the sizzling hot pot is popular and good, but whether it's the best in town is still passionately debated.
