Delancey Place

Fodor's Review:

This fine residential area southwest of Rittenhouse Square was once the address of Pearl S. Buck and Rudolf Serkin. 2019 Delancey Pl., Rittenhouse Square. At one corner there's an interesting sea captain's Delancey Place (320 S. 18th St., Rittenhouse Square) house. At No. 2010 is the Rosenbach Museum and Library. Cypress Street, north of Delancey Place, and Panama Street (especially the 1900 block, one block south of Delancey) are two of the many intimate streets lined with trees and town houses characteristic of the area.
