Fodor's Expert Review The 3D Center of Art and Photography

Nob Hill

Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.

Half gallery and half museum, this center devoted to three-dimensional imagery exhibits photographs best viewed through red-and-blue glasses, in addition to artifacts on the history of stereoscopic art. A collection of rare Nazi-era stereocards is displayed next to View-Masters and 3-D snapshot cameras. A three-dimensional rendering of famous classical paintings is one of the many changing 3-D slide shows you might see in the backroom Stereo Theatre.
