Hawthorne District

Fodor's Review:

This neighborhood stretching from the foot of Mt. Tabor to 30th Avenue tends to attract a more college-age, "bohemian," crowd than downtown or Nob Hill. With many bookstores, coffeehouses, taverns, restaurants, antiques stores, used-CD shops, and boutiques filling the streetfront, it's easy to spend a few hours wandering the street. SEP 2007
