Elephant Walk

Elephant Walk Review

Chef Longteine de Monteiro learned to manage a Cambodian kitchen as the wife of a diplomat, and for a time ran a restaurant in Béziers in southern France. The French-Cambodian menu is separated by region, so you get the best of both worlds. Tease your palate with an exotic assortment of authentic soups and salads, spring rolls that you wrap in fresh lettuce leaves, and mouthwatering pan-seared rare tuna. The restaurant features extensive vegetarian and gluten-free offerings. The airy atmosphere evokes a British Colonial hotel; the food reminds you of why Phnom Penh was "the Paris of Asia." The desserts, though, are pure Paris.

The menu has both Cambodian and French items, but regardless of the cuisine, the food's excellent. A little expensive, but worth the visit. Good service and ambiance, a little more spacious than the Cambridge location.
