Inspired by the aperitivo bars of Italy, this casually sophisticated Bywater destination was opened by the husband-and-wife team behind celebrated restaurant Iris. Although you could put together a meal from the menu, everything about Mariza—the large selection of small bites, the aperitivos and thoughtful list of wines by the glass, and a graceful modern decor dominated by the bar—encourages the fashionable neighborhood crowd to simply mingle for hours.
