Victory Gardens Theater Review
Victory Gardens Theater is known for its workshop productions and Chicago premieres. After buying the landmark Biograph Theater (site of John Dillinger's infamous demise) in 2006, the company stages all its productions in the impressive 299-seat proscenium-thrust house. Victory Gardens' original theater, now called the Greenhouse, hosts plays by local production companies on four stages.
