Fodor's Review

Nearly 3,000 acres are bounded by the Atlantic Ocean, Rehoboth Bay, and Indian River Bay, resulting in 6 miles of shoreline with lots of activities. Lifeguards patrol beaches, and two modern bathhouses are equipped with showers and changing rooms. There's a marina for boaters, and trails and camping for landlubbers. Rental cottages are available, too. Take an evening Lantern Tour of the circa-1876 Indian River Lifesaving Station to learn about shipwrecks and the

men who saved the lives of unfortunate sailors. It's one of many tours, hikes, and programs offered at the park.
