Louis' Lunch

Louis' Lunch Review

This all-American luncheonette on the National Register of Historic Places claims to be the birthplace of the American hamburger. Its first-rate burgers are cooked in an old-fashioned, upright broiler and served with either a slice of tomato or cheese on two slices of toast. As most customers who come from far and wide for these tasty morsels agree, it doesn't get much better than that. Louis' is open until 2 am Thursday-Saturday and is cash only.
