Jake's Original Tex Mex Cafe Review
Don't let the cafeteria-style service fool you; this is probably the best lunch place in Bakersfield. The chicken burritos and the chili fries (with meaty chili ladled on top) are superb; the coleslaw is a favorite, too. Locals rave about the chocolate cake—with good reason. Jake's is open for dinner, too.
