Don’t be fooled by the humble facade. This tiny Mexican taqueria serves up some of the best seafood-focused border food in town. There’s almost always a crowd of Uptown locals and savvy travelers here, but orders for burritos, tacos, and combination plates almost fly out of the kitchen. The expansive menu and list of intriguing daily specials can make ordering a challenge, but newcomers can’t go wrong with fish, calamari, or seared scallop tacos and burritos or burritos stuffed with chili rellenos or shrimp and carne asada. For an affordable snack, try the famous 99-cent fish tacos. House-made salsas offer heat and flavor for every palate.

Visited this place this evening. About 10 tables. You order at the counter from the blackboard menu and they call out your number when it is ready. Had the combination plate with the shrimp burrito, fish taco and rice and beans. I believe it was $7.99. Excellent food at a cheap price. Fish tacos a la carte are only $.99 each which is a great deal. Some other interesting eateries in the neighborhood along Park Blvd.
