Fodor's Review

Known for its over-the-top Italian villa and manicured gardens—not a stray blade of grass anywhere here—this winery produces mostly Chardonnays, Fumé Blancs, Zinfandels, and Cabernet Sauvignons. Though whites have traditionally been the specialty here, the reds garner attention too, especially in recent years the Bordeaux-style blend called Trésor, and some guests come just for the dessert wines. Tours cover the wine-making facilities, underground cellar, and the gardens, where you can see a cork oak tree and learn about how cork is harvested. For a more relaxed experience than the main tasting room, head downstairs to the reserve tasting room.
