Fodor's Review

Left-of-center Cha Cha Cha attracts an eclectic crowd. It's hip without being pretentious or overly trendy. A giant map on the wall suggests the restaurant's Caribbean influences. You can sit in the small dining room or on the enclosed tropical patio where Carmen Miranda would feel at home. Standard options include empanadas, Jamaican jerk chicken or pork, curried shrimp, fried plantain chips, and paella. Sangría is the drink of choice.

Cha Cha Charming

This is my favorite restaurant in LA. The food is fresh, the ceviche outrageous, and the sangria perfect. I wish they would open more locations.

Diamond in the Rough

ChaChaCha is one of the best places to eat in L.A. if you are looking for great food at an affordable cost. It is a sister restaurant to CAVA in BEverly Hills and offers many of the same entrees, but not at BevHills prices. Though nestled in the 'hood, you'll find everything from suped up civics to Lexus' and Mercedes parked out front. The jerk pork is AWESOME! And the Paella for 2 is more like Paella for 4. The Sangria is also out of this world.

4 dinners with 4 appetizers a pitcher of Sangria, coffee and dessert came to less than $130 with tax and tip. The restuarant is COLORFUL and sometimes the din can be quite loud. The service is always friendly if sometimes slow. Great out of the way place to show off your knowledge of the LA restaurant scene.
