Fodor's Review:

Despite its no-frills dining room in which noise echos off Formica surfaces and art is an afterthought, people line up outside the door for Versailles's respectable, bargain-price Cuban food. Most are crazy about the citrusy mojo -marinated chicken seasoned with loads of garlic. Others prefer oxtail, ropa vieja (shredded beef), or paella.

If you are looking for a healthy meal that is cravingly delicious as well as a bargain, Versailles is the place for you. There are several locations in the West LA area. The garlic chicken dinner comes with rice, black beans and fried plantains and is best shared with a hungry companion. Housemade Sangria complements the meal; a variety of beers are also available. If there is a line out the door, the food is definitely worth the wait.
