Thunderbird Lodge Review

In an ideal location within the national monument's borders, this pleasant, if basic establishment has stone-and-adobe units that match the site's original 1896 trading post. The cafeteria is in the original trading post and serves reasonably priced soups, salads, sandwiches, and entrées, including charbroiled steaks. The lodge also offers jeep tours of Canyon de Chelly and Canyon del Muerto. New management announced plans in 2013 for some significant upgrades.
