As soon as you see the enormous twin Mayan masks that stand in the dimly lit pre-lobby entrance you'll feel as if you've entered another world. This ultraglitzy, exotic resort is newly opened and offers vibrant, spacious suites, all with a view of the monstrous pool and the Sea of Cortez beyond. Water flows out of the mouths of giant rattlesnakes into the pool, which is decked out with lights that change colors at night. Early morning yoga classes greet the sunrise near the beach.
