The city goes all out to celebrate Mexican dance, music, folklore, and culture for a week in early February each year. Local artists and several of the downtown galleries hold special events in conjunction with the festival.

Tropic of Cancer Concert Series

Former R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck was the major force behind the Todos Santos Music Festival, held annually in January. The festival typically features seven nights of live music spread across two weekends, with an international lineup of performers appearing at Hotel California and the Todos Santos town square. Buck ruffled some local feathers with political comments at the 2016 festival, and the festival was renamed Tropic of Cancer Concert Series as a consequence. Proceeds benefit local children's charities.
