Fodor's Review:

For cheap and cheerful, plus friendly and clean, stay at this budget guesthouse in Placencia Village. Many guests become regulars. You can use the refrigerator and basic shared kitchen to prepare your meals. Owner Lydia Villaneuva also manages two nearby cabanas and one house, if you need more space. Pros: Can't beat the price, you have kitchen privileges. Con: Basic, backpacker-style accommodations.
