Fodor's Review

Shady Karaalioğlan Parkı is a traditional green space with trees, grass, and benches, as well as a view of the Mediterranean, enlivened in summer by circus rides, and by a market during Ramadan. It also has a miniature wooden "apartment building" designed to shelter street cats and their kittens. At the northwest end is a stone tower, called Hıdırlık Kulesi, which dates from the 2nd century AD. At sunset, sip a drink at the Castle Café and Bar next door and enjoy an unforgettable panorama of the Bey Mountains across the water.
