Adana finally has a true boutique hotel—an intimate, well-run option occupying a restored, 19th-century mansion in the heart of the old city. A rooftop terrace overlooks the town, from the Roman bridge and medieval minarets to the new Sabancı Mosque. Little of the building’s original ambience survived the remodeling, but some rooms do have old carved-timber ceilings, and the modern fittings and furniture are tasteful.
