Hostal Burguete Review

In the 1926 novel The Sun Also Rises, Hemingway's character Jake Barnes spends time here clearing his head before plunging back into the psychodrama of the San Fermín Festival and his impossible passion for Lady Brett Ashley—the inn still works for this sort of thing (though there aren't as many trout around these days), and you might even be able to sleep in Hemingway's bed; his room is kept exactly as it was when the novelist bunked here in 1924. Good value and simple Navarran cooking ($) make this stalwart Basque town house a good stop.
