Fodor's Review:

The epicenter of the fashionable and historic La Latina neighborhood, the narrow streets south of Plaza Mayor and across Calle Segovia are crowded with excellent tapas bars and traditional restaurants. Its lively atmosphere spills over into nearby streets and squares, including Almendro, Cava Alta, Plaza del Humilladero, and Plaza de la Paja.
