With French-Mediterranean cuisine and reasonable prices, this attractive bistro 100 yards west of the Rambla in the MACBA section of the Raval is a keeper. The lunch menu for under €10 would be reason enough to try their risotto de setas y esparragos trigueros (wild mushroom risotto with wild asparagus), while à la carte choices are tempting and economical. Traditional marble tabletops, graceful lighting, and one country kitchen table for six or eight diners
in the dining room add to the appeal.

We went to this restaurant because of the reviews here. We were looking for a nice date place, but not too expensive. This place was great!! We had beautiful pear and chestnut tortellini, goat cheese filo pastry with salad and cod with ratatouille. Delicious. Every part of the meal nicely served. One of the waitresses bashes around a little too much (cafeteria style, slamming things down), but the staff is friendly and professional. Don't sit too
close to the musicians, unless you actually don't want to hear what your date is saying. The music is nice, but a little over-powering if you are too close. The room is lovely, without being stuck-up. Some people dressed up, others (mostly tourists) were in jeans. You can wear anything, but you'll feel like you own the room if you pull out your Sunday best. We loved it here. Would definitely go back. Why four stars? We are fussy eaters, what can I say?
