Although there is a good range of Slovenian and Italian specialties, it's not the food that's the main draw here—it's the riverside location near the Triple Bridge. On a warm summer evening, there's not a better table in town. Despite the name, which translates as "goldfish," there's not much in the way of seafood here—instead the focus is on salads, grilled meats, and game.

I suppose if you are in your 20s and like the party scene this will do, but if you want the beauty and mood of Ljubljana, avoid this restaurant and go to a quieter one on the side streets, or even the inexpensive fish restaurant directly under the market, Okrepcevalnica Ribca (quite a name!) with a better view of the river, and the probability of hearing the concert in the open air theater across the river.
