Villa La Massa

Fodor's Review:
You approach the tall and imposing villa, 15 minutes out of town, via a gravel drive lined with flowers. The public rooms are outfitted in Renaissance style, with a color scheme of deep green, gold, and crimson. Guest rooms have high ceilings, some with frescoes, plush carpeting, and deep bathtubs. A pool and beautiful views of the Arno are bonuses. The restaurant is superb and serves Tuscan classics as well as less-standard fare; a pianist quietly plays old standards while you eat. A shuttle bus runs every hour to and from the center of Florence. You have access to nearby tennis courts.

Our stay at at Vill La Massa was unforgetable. I have never stayed at another hotel that would even compare to their outstanding service, fabulous food, knowledgable staff and absolutly the cleanest bathrooms and rooms I couldn't ask for more!!! I would recommend it to my pickiest of friends and family.RATING: 5.0
Perfect Atmosphere for a Romantic Getaway

The setting and tranquility were amazing. The views imense and the rooms were beautiful. Great peaceful location just minutes from the hustle and bustle of the heart of Florence.RATING: 4.4
