The selection here is especially good; in addition to delicate silver jewelry, Ostria sells silver icon covers, silver plate, and 22-karat gold.

Local Phaidra Apostolopoulou, who studied jewelry in Athens, has this tiny shop, where she shows her sophisticated silver and gold designs, and a line of punky and funky pieces for summer.

Anglo-Australian expat artist Tim Elkington's small craft and art shop in the Old Town showcases Greek and other expat artists who are inspired by the beauty and culture of Greece. Elkington is a painter, but also sells traditional and modern pottery, cards, ceramics, drawings, jewelry, and clothing that have a connection to Greece.

Walking into The Workshop you’ll immediately realize that the owner, Christos Xenitidis, loves two things: music and jewelry. His handiwork is responsible for the lovely gold and silver necklaces, rings, and earrings behind the simple glass displays. Look above his jewelry workbench to see a line of the guitarlike bouzoukias that he fixes and collects. Sometimes, his musician Mykonian friends stop by and an impromptu concert will form before your eyes.
