Among the solid shampoo cakes, body oils, and face packs sold here are a tremendous number of organic Greek-made soaps, most sliced from big blocks or wheels (as though they were cheese)—you pay by weight. Best bets are the cinnamon-and-jasmin soap, "Cybele," which contains organic moisturisers and the "Orpheus and Eurydice" soap for sensitive skin—it's made with vanilla, milk, and rice, just like Greek rizogalo (rice pudding). The scents are uplifting and sensuous.
