Fodor's Review:
The long line that persists since the restaurant opened proves that Shin Yeh diners are hooked. The focus here is on Taiwanese flavors and freshness. Caipudan is a scrumptious turnip omelet. Fotiaoqiang ("Buddha jumping over the wall") is a delicate soup with medicinal herbs and seafood. Last but definitely not least, try the mashu, a glutinous rice cake rolled in ground peanut. Service is friendly and very attentive.
