While there are a plethora of cool places to watch the eclipse on Monday, August 21, “on a boat with Bonnie Tyler” might take the top prize. During Royal Caribbean’s Total Eclipse Cruise on board Oasis of the Seas, Bonnie Tyler will perform her ’80s classic “Total Eclipse of the Heart.”
The 7-night cruise sets sail from Orlando on August 20, stopping in St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and the Bahamas. On August 21, the ship will pass through the path of totality, allowing passengers to glimpse the total solar eclipse (of the heart) during the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. About an hour before the total eclipse, Bonnie Tyler will take the stage at the Aquatheater, a unique 700-seat venue that combines a pool, multiple platforms, and fountains.
Also, one of those Jonas brothers is going to be there, so even if you don’t remember the ’80s, you can still feel some Disney Channel nostalgia. Forever’s gonna start tonight.
