Wine Country Elopement - Help with where?

My fiance and I want to elope in the sonoma/napa valley. Something very small and personal and we will have our own officiant. This would be only for the ceremony and we will pick a local restaurant for brunch or dinner afterwards. There will be less than 10 guests. Please help to steer me in the right direction and give suggestions of venues.

Hi there - Sonoma County Tourism (where I work) offers info on wedding venues and places to stay. This is free. Best bet is to start at our wedding page at www.sonomacounty.com/wedding.

For some quick ideas - you could always have a ceremony in a vineyard or along the coast or in the redwoods, and then move to a great wine country restaurant. Congratulations! - Sonoma Insider

A little more information about what you are looking for would be helpful. Are you looking for a formal facility or just a scenic public place to conduct the ceremony.

Most wineries in the Napa Valley do not have wedding facilities but there are many that have scenic locations where an impromptu ceremony could be performed. There are also wonderful venues like Meadowwood where an elaborate ceremony could be held.

Sonoma County has more options for "official" winery weddings. One that comes to mind is Jacuzzi Winery:

Both areas have many options for a fine meal afterwards.

Madrona Manor is a beautiful setting for this. A family member had their wedding there and it was perfect. You wouldn't even need to go elsewhere for a very nice dinner. There are some perfect spots outside for photo's as well.

Ferrari-Carrano is a popular venue. You might also take a look @ Ledson + they have a hotel in town.
