which national park in July?

Hello, we live in Atlanta burbs
and have already seen GC, Bryce,
Niagara, Yosemite and soon the smokies.

Are there any good, scenic parks
that will not be crowded in the July
holidays that would be good choices?

Thank you

If it's a GOOD park, it's going to be crowded.

July is going to be hot in the Southwest but Arches and Canyonlands National Park are beautiful.

Yellowstone will be crowded but it's a must see.

For fewer crowds I would recommend Glacier National Park in Montana.

Jasper National Park and Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada is even more beautiful than Glacier IMHO.

Sounds like you all might be ready to go to Alaska! July would be a great time to hit Denali and inside passage! Great Smokey Mt.s Wonderful. Utahtea also has great suggestions.

I'd recommend Acadia in Maine. Summer is the peak season there, but even saying that, I don't think you'd find it crowded once you get on the trails.

Take a look at Mammoth Cave National park. There are several different cave tours and you can book them ahead of time, which is great. The caves are 58 degrees year round, so it feels wonderful in summer. You might want to do a couple Nat'l parks in KY. Not a bad drive from you and we have some awesome beauty.

I've camped at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon in July. It was definitely busy, but not overcrowded. Since the elevation is high, it wasn't too hot.

Oops, I just saw that you listed GC. Missed it the first time.
