What to do in Buckhead besides shop?

What about things to do at night? Are there any good bars? What things would you recommend that someone do or see in the area?

When I stayed in Buckhead a few years ago I was amazed at ALL the places there are to eat/drink. A seemingly unending supply of restaurants. Sorry I don't have names, but you won't go hungry. P.S. everywhere I ate was good. Wish I had that problem where I live!

Buckhead is home to many if not most of Atlanta's most fashionable upscale restaurants and nightspots.

What part of Buckhead are you staying in? What types of bars and/other other things are you looking for?

You can start here:

Cheryllj- Your link is outdated. Most of those bars no longer exist. Buckhead is going through a massive redevelopment. The blocks that included most of the bars have been demolished for new mixed use development. There are still plenty of restaurants and bars in the area but if you haven't been there in the last year or so, it has changed a lot.

Sorry if that link is outdated -- I know that Buckhead is going through a lot of changes, but I thought most of those places on that page were still there. I've been there recently, just last week actually.

There are still nightspots in Buckhead, just not as many or as concentrated as there used to be.

Buckhead is not that far from downtown Atlanta. You can either jump on MARTA and take the train into the city (just a few minutes) and so see a ball game, a concert, or visit the aquarium, or just drive down.
