There's no contest whatsoever on this. Go in November, which in my opinion is one of the best months of the year in the keys. The weather is usually beautiful and mild. Summers in the keys can be horribly hot and humid.

It can get very hot in the summer, but mid-June it should still be relatively nice. Hurrican Season starts in June, although the worst hurricans usually come later in the season, August - October. June will be busier than November, but for some reason being in the tropics in November just doesn't feel . . . right. I've done it, though. Heck, I've been there at Christmas, but I like my tropics to be in the summer!!! IMO. Have fun. Either month will be a blast.

my preference is June....sure it will be hotter then hell, but thats what the AC is for. our last trip was to ramrod key in October to do some diving....i almost had hypothermia even with a wet suit on (OK, it was only a .5mm wetsuit, i should have worn a 3mm). one night the wind was blowing so much you could barely stand erect much less enjoy a cocktail at the tiki bar. other than those 2 experiences, the weather was great. of course, november might be "in season" at some hotels. as far as hurricanes...who knows....most hit around Aug or Sept.

I'll go with Susan on this, November usually features great weather (OK, so there's a slim chance of a Hurricane) and possibly reduced prices.
