What is the most ideal place to park at Orlando disney Epcot park?

Hello! we're going to Orlando Disney Epcot theme park tomorrow. We're driving there. Can anyone tell us the most ideal place to park our car? Thank you very much!!

I found the following: "Unlike Magic Kingdom, much of Epcot's parking lot is close to the gate. Parking sections are named for themes (Harvest, Energy, and so forth), and the aisles are numbered." Click this:

If you are going just to Epcot, then I would park there, it's the easiest walk to the park. If you are visiting other parks, I find that parking in the lot of the last park you visit makes your departure a lot easier.

wdwinfo.com EPCOT parking best but expensive park as close as you can to the front usually cheaper to freepark at hotels and shuttle free over from hotel to save for me.

We stayed at the Hilton next to Downtown /disney one year and ended up using our car to go to all the parks. The hotel did have a shuttle - ONE! It circulated among the various parks and so took forever to get to or from any of them. Between that and driver breaks there were only 3 or 4 visits to the park per day.

Much better to take your own car, park as close as you can to the park entrance - than rely on shuttles that can run intermittently.

You will NOT be able to park at ANY of the Disney close-in resorts such as the Boardwalk or the Yacht and Beach UNLESS you have a room reservation. I am not as sure about the two contractor hotels (Dolphin and Swan).

"usually cheaper to freepark at hotels and shuttle free over from hotel to save" ???

Are you saying that this poster, or any other, can simply park at a hotel and take THEIR free shuttle over; a service provided for THEIR registered guests? I find it pretty hard to believe they would allow this to happen.

DebitNM: Don't bother asking qwo to clarify. AFAIK he has never (ever) returned to a thread once he has posted one of his hit and run's

Fang: You are probably already there and parked, but in case, as Bo_Mullen mentioned it partly depends on if you are only going to the one park.

It was more a rhetorical question, janisj; I didn't want the OP thinking this was a viable solution.

You're correct, Debit. Disney does not allow non-guests to use the hotel lots as free parking for the theme parks.
