West Palm Beach 2 nights?
I'm travelling to Florida in October and will be flying into Fort Lauderdale. The day after my arrival, I'll be attending a concert in West Palm Beach. My question is, should I spend one night in Ft. Lauderdale and one night in West Palm. Or just go to WPB and spend 2 nights there. Just so you know, I'll be spending a night in Fort Lauderdale at the end of my vacation before flying out. Between that, stops in Miami, Key West and Naples. Thanks.

How you decide this depends on what you want to do.
Ft. Lauderdale definitely has a good and extensive public beach area -- less sure what Palm Beach has to offer.
Worth Avenue in Palm Beach is from all reports a ritzy shopping mecca. Las Olas Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale has plenty of shopping and eateries and is perhaps only a little less upscale.
WPB has an excellent mension you can tour, the Flagler Museum, as well as a fine moderate-sized museum in the Norton Museum of Art, while Ft. L has a decent small art museum of its own and two interesting historic houses you can tour, the Bonnet House and Stranahan House.

That's exactly the type of info what I was looking for. I'll be flying into Ft. Lauderdale, but seeing a concert the next evening in WPB. So I wasn't sure if I should just head up there or do one night in both places, as I don't want to drive back to Ft. Lauderdale after the show.
Thank you.
Thank you.

There's a lot to do in both places. I recommend Palm Beach County for better beaches (Jupiter, Juno, Palm Beach) and shopping (Gardens Mall), and CityPlace in West Palm or Downtown at the Gardens in Palm Beach Gardens for dining and nightlife. You can find out more about the attractions mentioned in the post above at http://www.palmbeachfl.com/
If you stay out west by the Cruzan Ampitheatre, you might want to consider touring Lion Country Safari during the day.

If you take a walk on Worth Ave., make sure you go back into the "vias". They are little alleys you will see between some of the shops. Go back there and it's like being in an Italian village. We love the one with the childrens sculpture garden.

If possible, I'd try to stay on the beach or at least close...I, personally, would not want to stay "out" by Cruzan. Depending on your budget, you might be able to grab a fall deal @ the Breakers for a real treat...actually not as stuffy as some might think. Other beach favs...Hilton Singer Island, Marriott Singer Island, Jupiter Beach Resort. For a budget, near beach option....there is a Holiday Inn Express in Juno that is across the st. from the beach. I also use the Homewood Suites on Donald Ross in Jupiter when family visits...close to I95 but also just a few minutes to the beach.
