We took the Seattle Duck tour!
fter living in the Seattle area for 46 years we decided to be tourists and take the duck tour. It was a ball! Weather was perfect, of course...low 70's while the rest of the nation sweltered, nice blue sky. Our driver was a lady whose nom-de-Duck was Captain Helen Wheels (yuk yuk). She did a wonderful job of keeping everyone entertained and informed....she has snippets of taped music to fit every occasion; when we drove down the boat ramp into Lake Union she played the theme from "Jaws." I had never heard, and never would have recognized, the theme music for SpongeBob Squarepants, but she had every kid on the duck singing it.
Come to Seattle, ride the duck!

I've taken the duck also, it's quippy and a little obnoxious but cute.
Bob, if you haven't already, I recommend checking out the Underground Tour. I've been on it 4-5 times so far and enjoy it each time.

I was born and raised in Phila. and last summer decided to take the Duck tour when my nephew was fisiting from Florida. We had a blast. I actually learned at least one new thing about my city after all these years!

Driving down Stockton Street through San Francisco Chinatown a few weeks ago I passed a Duck and it was causing so much traffic because it could barely fit passed the Muni bus. I thought the locals were going to throw their Dim Sum at the driver.
It was very funny!!!
